Should I pay the upgrade and try them out? My regular piano is VSL's Vienna Imperial and I LOVE it! IIRC, they seemed to lack many velocity layers and I never warmed up to them.Īre any of those piano's better now with newer versions? Would I hear a big difference between Italian Grand v1 VS IG v2? I remember trying out the Synthogy pianos and was not blown away. Garritan's Jazz and Big Band (the oldest original version) Synthogy's Italian Grand and Ivory (version 1 or a very old one).
I found these 2 VIs that I never installed/implemented in my production system, and I've had them for at least a decade.
